REV. FR. EMMANUEL S. CONTRERAS visited Holy Angel University during the Career Talk for High School Seniors on Oct. 15, 2009 at the University Theater. The activity was intended to assist the students in their career decision making. Fr. Manny shared his experiences in choosing his careers and how the high school department helped him in his career decision making.

Currently, Fr. Manny is the Assistant Parish Priest of Holy Rosary Parish Church, Angeles City. He graduated with High Honors in High School and Magna Cum Laude in BS Mechanical Engineering at Holy Angel University. He took up the board examination for Mechanical Engineers in 1993 and ranked no. 9. Before he became a priest, he was employed as a manager of Procter and Gamble Phils. He then responded to God’s call and entered the San Carlos Seminary School of Theology where he was a Dean’s Lister. After two years, he transferred to UST Faculty of Sacred Theology and took up Bachelor in Sacred Theology and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He was ordained as a priest on November 24, 2007.
