I welcome you to our University and to our Freshman Scholarship Awarding Ceremonies.

Institutions of higher learning award scholarships to give deserving students an access to further their education. Each institution has its own purpose for the award. Each award is recognition of the students’ competence, be it in academics, athletics, talents, service and others.

We, in Holy Angel University, award this scholarship to our freshmen as a reflection of the values and ideals of our Founders who espoused the principle that Holy Angel exists not to enrich itself, but to share its blessings to the community. It is in the same light that we promote the act of “paying forward” – that eventually, our students who benefit from the scholarship will be able to share with the less fortunate the same privileges they enjoy today as scholars.

At present, almost 10% of our student population enjoy the institutional scholarship offerings and we are taking steps to increase this to 15%. We are continuously seeking the assistance of our generous benefactors and friends to contribute to our scholarship fund so that more deserving students can avail of the grants and be able to complete their education.

• Our dear parents and guardians, who chose Holy Angel University as the school of your children. We assure you that your children will have the kind of education you expect them to receive from us. As they do their best to achieve, let us be one in supporting and inspiring them to prepare well and be good students of Holy Angel and good citizens of the community. We are one with you in your dream of having your children in the long list of our successful graduates.
