With a theme,“”Maraming Wika, Matatag na Bansa”,the Filipino Department celebrated Buwan ng Wika last August,2007. The celebration highlighted the richness and importance of the Filipino culture through the following activities; cultural dance, singing of Filipino songs, Fiesta Festival and Balagtasan. Through these, students and teachers realized how beautiful and rich our culture is which we need to preserve and promote to ensure that this will be passed on to the next generations.
