Vision Statement

Holy Angel University Graduate School of Business is committed to the continuous pursuit of excellence that will earn the institution the recognition as a premiere graduate business and management education center in the region. Through its advanced education and innovative programs, GSB is dedicated to help working professional and entrepreneurs to become competent and socially responsible leaders in the global workplace.

Objectives

To realize the vision the Business and Management Programs, the following objectives must be achieved:
  • Attract and develop a pool of accomplished and principled faculty members who are experts in their corresponding fields and proficient in interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary approaches in teaching;
  • Offer programs that emphasize critical management attributes and are more relevant and responsive to the shifting needs of the real world;
  • Promote practitioner-research oriented that will allow us to participate in the furtherance of knowledge and elevate our management programs to higher level of excellence;
  • Forge and maintain strategic functional linkages and/or partnerships with academic societies, relevant organizations, foundations, agencies as well as other graduate schools to allow for cooperative efforts and to expedite technology transfer;
  • Create an environment conducive to learning with state-of-the-art facilities, progressive instruction technologies, up-to-date reference materials, and world class services by a complement of highly skilled and trained staff;
  • Nurture a culture that promotes excellence, creativity, innovation, and the highest ethical standards in the Christian context.
PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION PROGRAM

Vision Statement

Holy Angel University Master in Public Administration Program envisions to be the premier learning institution in governance and public administration in the country. It commits itself in providing excellent academic, research and advocacy training in order to promote quality in public service, develop a high level of competence in the formulation of public policy, administrative reforms and effective governance among government officials and employees as well as a catalyst of change to further uphold the interest of the public and advocate social transformation in the realm of government.

Objectives

To realize the vision of Master in Public Administration Program, the following objectives must be achieved:
  • Build and maintain highly qualified faculty members who are experts in their corresponding fields and proficient in interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary approaches in teaching of public administration;
  • Offer courses that are relevant and responsive in the practice of public administration, government service and in the furtherance of research capabilities;
  • Conduct advocacy functions through seminars and training in public administration as well as providing consultancy services to government agencies, public enterprises and local government units which aim to effectively influence and improve the policy and decision making in the government;
  • Develop a research oriented government servants that will allow them to participate in the furtherance of their knowledge and execute research findings in order to elevate government service to higher level of excellence;
  • Forge and maintain strategic functional linkages and/or partnerships with academic societies, relevant organizations, foundations, agencies as well as other graduate schools to allow for knowledge and facilities sharing;
  • Create an environment conducive to learning with state-of-the-art facilities, progressive instruction technologies, up-to-date reference materials, and world class services by a complement of highly skilled and trained staff;
  • Provide a culture that nurtures a commitment to excellence and innovation of government service as well as instill among students the highest ethical standards; and
  • Continuously and critically strive to respond to the challenges and problems of public administration through innovative course offerings, strengthened its advocacy role and enhanced research capabilities.
