Last February 21, 2009 a MOA signing with SUN Microsystems Philippines, Inc. was held in Makati City. The agreement authorizes the University as one of the SUN Education Center to integrate SUN JAVA courses, such as SL110-Programming Fundamentals and SL275-JAVA Fundamentals, into the CICT curriculum. Holy Angel University is one of the only nine schools in the Philippines to be designated as ASECs.
