In November 2005 the Department of Hospitality Management submitted itself to Philippine Accrediting Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) to a Formal Survey where the department underwent conformance to three areas namely: Faculty, Instruction and Laboratory. It qualified to undergo a Level I accreditation the following year.

In November 10, 2006, PAASCU awarded the “Certificate of Accreditation” through which a three year development period was worked out for LEVEL II Accreditation Application.
